We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead "offensive modernization" initiatives, utilizing cloud infrastructure, AI-driven development, and modern mobile technologies. Candidates with strong backgrounds in finance, system modernization, or digital transformation (DX) are highly sought after for this role. You will act as the crucial link between forward-thinking financial institutions and a top-tier multinational engineering team, driving projects from initial proposal through to flawless execution.
Client Consultation & Requirements Definition: Deep-dive into clients' business models, systems, and organizational structures to identify core challenges and true needs.
Solution Design & Proposals: Architect optimal technical solutions, development methodologies, and roadmaps. Lead proposal creation, RFI/RFP support, and vendor management.
Technical Collaboration: Partner closely with internal senior engineers and tech leads to guarantee project feasibility and technical superiority.
Project Launch & Delivery: Lead projects from day one—defining scope, establishing initial architecture, building agile teams (typically 5–8 members), and managing complex stakeholder relationships across large-scale implementations.
Product Evolution: Channel client feedback back to the internal development teams to drive the evolution of proprietary AI-driven legacy conversion tools and services.
Technical & PM Foundation: 5 to 15 years of combined experience in software engineering and project management, with a deep understanding of system development lifecycles.
Domain Expertise: Proven finance domain knowledge, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in system modernization or digital transformation (DX).
Business Acumen: A strong commercial mindset focused on project ROI and business value. Practical project management framework knowledge (PMP or equivalent real-world experience).
Communication (Japanese): High-level Japanese proficiency required to logically explain complex technical events to clients and manage executive-level negotiations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active PMP certification.
Experience leading high-value projects (e.g., ¥10M+ scale) within SIer or SES environments.
Proven track record of aligning complex, multi-tiered stakeholders.
