A fast-growing Japanese energy technology company is seeking a Sales Strategy Manager to drive sales promotion, marketing strategy, and business growth initiatives as the company expands both domestically and globally. The company is focused on transforming the energy industry through next-generation battery storage solutions and sustainable infrastructure technologies. With rapid business growth and international expansion on the horizon, this role will play a critical part in building scalable sales strategies and maximizing commercial performance. This position goes beyond traditional marketing or promotional planning. The successful candidate will work closely with sales teams to analyze market trends, customer insights, and sales activity data, while developing systems and initiatives that improve organizational sales effectiveness. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to global go-to-market and expansion strategies. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, data-driven, and able to identify root causes behind business challenges through both on-the-ground observations and quantitative analysis.
Develop and execute data-driven sales promotion and marketing strategies
Analyze market data, customer insights, and SFA/sales activity data to identify business opportunities and improve sales performance
Plan and implement initiatives with strong ROI awareness and measurable business impact
Design and optimize scalable sales enablement frameworks, tools, and operational processes
Create initiatives that strengthen sales capabilities and maximize organizational effectiveness
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and business teams to drive growth initiatives
Support the planning and development of global sales promotion and expansion strategies
Conduct logical analysis based on both field observations and quantitative data to identify core business challenges
3+ years of experience in B2B sales promotion, marketing, business planning, or corporate sales
Candidates with a sales background are highly welcome if they have experience analyzing, systematizing, and standardizing successful sales processes for broader organizational use
Experience developing hypotheses, executing initiatives, and measuring results using quantitative data
Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with the ability to identify root causes behind business challenges
High level of ownership and commitment to achieving business targets
Experience using SFA/CRM tools such as Salesforce for operational management and data analysis is preferred
Business-level English proficiency or experience collaborating with overseas subsidiaries/business partners is preferred
Interest or experience in technology, manufacturing, or industrial sectors is preferred
